FoxFire Illuminating Safety Bands and Tetrahedrons

Foxfire products utilize an advanced photoluminescent technology that possess the unique capacity to absorb and store light, then release it as a bright luminance in the dark. The bright glow emitted from Foxfire's helmet bands, tetrahedrons, and other products illuminates surroundings and serves as a light emitter enabling firefighters to keep track of their crews in dark environments. When fully charged by any light source Foxfire products can glow for up to 17 hours.

Foxfire illuminating helmet bands and tetrahedrons are available as an upgrade on all Phenix Fire Helmets.

Magnetic ID Panel Systems

Our magnetic identification panels are designed for use as an accountability system. The base magnets adhere to the helmet, while the "outer" panels are 3˝" x 2Ľ" and come in black or white. Reflective lettering comes in a variety of colors and can be configured a number of ways. The panels are interchangeable for various station assignments. We can customize them for your departments needs.

Aluminized Helmet Covers

NOW AVAILABLE, an aluminized PBI cover for the Phenix First Due. Customized to fit perfectly over the helmet, it can be used during training burns, municipal airport extreme heat fires, and general protection. Its primary function is to reflect back 95% of the "radiant heat".

Spartan Light

This 90 Lumens LED light sits conspicuously behind your custom leather ID shield and uses standard AAA batteries for power. Included with the light package is a custom leather ID shield, which will allow for unobstructed illumination while protecting and concealing the casing. There is also a back up battery compartment designed for continuous light to ensure firefighter safety.

Sam Brown Leather ID Shields

Our leather shields are made from real leather, are stamped with leather dyes, and come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and colors. They can be customized for your individual department and rank.

Detroit Metal ID Shields

Hailing from the home of Motown, Cadillac, and legendary boxer Joe Louis, Detroit Shields have been worn by Detroit firefighters for over 100 years and are now being worn by many departments throughout the United States. They are made of 17 gauge steel, powder coated, and then covered with three layers of deep clear coating.

We've done some extensive testing on these shields and they are definitely tough. Best of all you can essentially customize them any way you want. If you want the shield to have a picture of your Aunt Edna's poodle, it can be done.

Available in standard and gold edged for use on our traditional helmets now and coming soon on our contemporary helmets.

ID Brackets for ID Shield Installation

ID Bracket Installed on a 1500-2007WL

Our exclusive ID bracket is molded to fit our Phenix First Due series helmets. This bracket is needed when attaching a 4˝" or 6" ID shield. It is best to have our team install it, but the part comes with instructions for installing it in the field.

Suspension Upgrades

Ratchet Retro-Fit Kit installed on a TL2

Ratchet Retro-Fit Kit:

If your helmet is equipped with the exclusive Phenix nape strap suspension, you can easily install the retro fit kit to turn your suspension into a ratchet adjustment. We can install the ratchet if you so desire, however, we have easy and understandable instructions if you would like to do it yourself.

Custom Comfort Pad:

Add the custom comfort pad to the headband of your suspension for more comfort. This upgrade can easily be removed for washing.

Deluxe Comfort Package:

Our Deluxe Comfort Package suspension upgrade kit includes a comfort pad, crown cap and ratchet cover made of protected leather. The set is easy to install and will outlast any of the other parts. The items are scratch and water resistant and very durable and easy to clean as well. Just wipe with a damp cloth.

The package components are also available as individual pieces that can be purchased separately. Check with your local dealer when ordering.

J5 Firelids

The J5 Firelid is the original in handcrafted, customized helmet padding. It is available in six different standard fabric designs, two special designs, and also features a customizable option that allows you to have your name, station, or whatever you would like embroidered. They are fully machine washable and provide an extra level of comfort for the Phenix wearer.

Available in Standard, Deluxe and Customized designs.

Phenix Technology NFPA and UL compliant ATAC goggles meet all current NFPA performance criteria and can be ordered with nose piece to give complete nose protection while fighting brush fires. They may also be equipped with either the standard long strap (easy to store) or made to attach directly to the helmet with our exclusive goggle retainers and attachment kit.
