available: an aluminized PBI cover
for the Phenix First Due. Customized to fit
perfectly over the helmet, it can be used
during training burns, municipal airport extreme
heat fires, and protection. Its primary function
is to reflect back 95% of "Radiant heat".
In convective heat applications it will reduce
heat "pass-through" by 30%. In non-military
uses this material has become a standard in
many training facilities for structural fire
fighting. With the use of these covers firefighters
have greatly extended the life of their fire
helmets, as many "Training" fires
generally run between 600 and 1000 degrees.

opt for a different color reflective trip as well.
Lime/Yellow and Red/Orange are the only colors recognized
for NFPA compliance. For extra comfort with your
